Head-to-head per hole. Win = 2 pts, tie = 1 pt each, loss = 0. Three 7–8 hole segments.
Teams earn points based on their relative performance in each competition within their division. In strokes-based rounds, teams are ranked by score — lowest score earns the most points, ties split points evenly. Match Play points are earned hole-by-hole and aggregated to team totals. After all preliminary rounds, each team's total points determine their starting score advantage heading into the Championship Round — the team with the most points tees off with the biggest head start. The Championship Round uses Team Alternate Shot, and final standings combine the starting advantage with the Championship Round score.

November 2026 · Season-End Bracket Tournament
The Match Play Championship is the crown jewel of the BCDC season — a two-day bracket tournament held in November, seeded by bag tag standings after the final Q4 event. The winner takes home the #1 Tag Belt and the year-long accumulated Match Play payout fund built up through the season's entry fees.
Every dollar from the Match Play fund in Tag Challenge entry fees goes straight into the pot. The deeper you go in the bracket, the bigger your share.
